VENDOR GUIDELINES: PLEASE READ!
By applying to a market, you are agreeing to follow the guidelines listed below. Markets are a community effort, and every vendor plays an important role in making it successful!
Failure to adhere to the guidelines may result in future applications not being accepted
Before applying
☆Types of vendors we are looking for:
- Vintage Clothing
- Curated Secondhand
- Upcycled Items
- Art
- Jewelry
- Secondhand Home Decor
- Records
- Vintage Toys
☆types of vendors we are not looking for:
- Brand new modern items not made by the vendor (Paparazzi Jewelry, aliexpress items, labubus etc.)
- 3D printed items
- Items/art created using A.I.
- Fast fashion resellers (Skims, Lulu Lemon resellers etc.) Unless items have been incorporated into an upcycled piece
- Mislabeled items, which includes claiming an item is from a specific designer, era, or brand when it is not.
- Generally, if you are not a handmade/art/jewelry vendor, your items should be from the 2000’s and older.
*217flea reserves the right to decline vendors for other reasons such as oversaturation of a type of vendor, vendors that do not align with our mission, or vendors that we project will not do well at our events.
Before the market
☆ When accepted, vendor fee must be paid at the date specified on the individual market application.
☆If you plan on splitting a booth with someone else, you must inform us
☆You must like, comment, and share posts related to the market to boost attendance and vendor sales
☆You must to post a preview (a story, an insta post, a facebook post etc.) of items you will be bringing to the market leading up to the date and tag 217flea. This helps build excitement and boost attendance!
☆By signing up for this market, you give 217flea permission to photograph/or record your booth, products, and participation at the market for social media and promotional purposes.
In addition to social media, this may include fliers, website advertisements, and other promotional materials.
☆We can issue a refund for your vendor fee if two weeks or before the market date. One week before the market, you may credit your fee to another event, but we cannot refund you. three or less days before the event, we cannot credit your fee to another event or refund you.
Please reach out to the market organizer to discuss cancelation, exceptions may be made in case of emergency, but that is left up to the organizer.
☆Outdoor markets will have a “rain date” in case of bad weather, so be sure to check if you are available for that day as well. If not, we can credit your booth fee to a future market instead.

When at the market
☆ Your booth must be completely set up thirty minutes before the market start time
☆You must park in the designated vendor parking area, not in the customer parking area (this will vary by location, and you will be informed beforehand)
☆Your booth set up must stay within the bounds of the space assigned to you unless previously discussed with the market organizer
☆When allowing people to leave your booth with one of your items, please ask for an ID/Wallet/phone to prevent theft or the customer leaving your items at another booth
☆You will receive a market lanyard at the beginning of the day, please wear it all day and return it to the Market organizer before you leave
☆You must set up in your designated space unless otherwise discussed with the Market organizer
☆You agree to remain professional and respectful at all times before/during/and after the market.
-This means if you choose to consume alcohol or other substances, that you do so responsibly and legally. Being visibly intoxicated is unprofessional and reflects poorly on our market.
-This also means you must behave appropriately towards customers and other vendors. No disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated at our events. If another vendor or even a customer has made you uncomfortable, let Emily or Katia know!
☆When packing up, I agree to remove tape/chalk other markings from my booth area as well as trash.
These guidelines are what help 217flea stay true to its purpose. We want shoppers to know that if they come to our markets they are supporting the planet and local creatives. Thank you for being a part of that!
